Labor Day Weekend Double Header
The Labor Day weekend has officially arrived and with it comes WTPA’s last big doubleheader of the 2022 season. With trips to Jim Falls and Ridgeland on the schedule, all your favorite classes will be on full display at one or both of the events.
Jim Falls kicks off the weekend on Saturday evening at 7:00PM. But you don’t have to wait until the start time to get your pulling fun started. Come early, travel the pits and see one of the more impressive displays of trucks (and tractors) anywhere. Jim Falls has that legendary track and with it comes a ton of pulling vehicles. Champions will be crowned in the Two and Four Wheel Drive Truck classes and those in attendance will be there to celebrate their success! The Sturgeon Fest has always been well known for a lot of trucks and you will see just that. Four classes with gas and diesel involved, you’ll see WTPA’s best in action. Add in one of the busier tractor classes and Saturday will have you well situated to see something outstanding.
Enter Sunday evening and Northern Wisconsin’s biggest small town event. People from miles away know Ridgeland and pullers always dream of pulling there. It’s an unique event with one of the more impressive pulling landscapes. A big, wide open pit area complete with one of the largest “spectator hills” anywhere across America. Simply put, it’s super cool and a must see if you have never been there. The lineup changes a little big, see below for the rundown on that. We will also be crowning champions in the Light Pro Stock Tractor and Modified Mini Tractor classes Sunday night! Most importantly, add it to your schedule. Better yet, head north for Jim Falls and Ridgeland, have a pulling weekend to talk about for months and months!
