2008 Annual Membership Meeting & Awards Banquet Mark your calendars! The WTPA Annual Membership Meeting and Awards Banquet will be switching weekends in 2008. The new weekend is a result of the NTPA Awards Banquet switching weekends beginning this year. Date:        Saturday, December 13th, 2008 Location: Wintergreen Resort                  Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin A block of rooms has been reserved for Friday, December 12th and Saturday, December 13th. Call 1-800-648-4765 and tell them you are with the Wisconsin Tractor Pullers. Room rates for both nights will be $69.00 per night. More information will follow later in the summer. Tech Inspection Reminders: Roger Kutz wants to remind pullers that the following is necessary before the season begins: All clutches need to be inspected. Roll-cage Inspections for expiring cages. All automatic transmission flex plates need to be SFI approved. Please have the plates inspected before your vehicle is assembled. Or, make sure the SFI stamp can be seen (it would help to have the receipt). All automatic transmissions will need blankets. For information on this rule, please see the 2008 NTPA rulebook pages 15 & 16. If you have any questions, call Roger at his home at 262-473-2531 Mini Rod Rule Clarifications: At the spring board meeting, the following language was added to the rules for the 2008 Mini Rod class. All other rules will remain the same as discussed in December. All rules will remain subject to change Maximum 8-71 (any blower make) All motor combinations limited to 30% overdrive
